Advertising and affiliate disclosure

Where advertising can appear, what is prohibited, and how PlayLaunch protects editorial independence

Current mode

The current configuration permits only first-party PlayLaunch house messages on guide pages. A verified AdSense publisher ID is staged, the authoritative root seller record is public, and site review is pending. External AdSense requests remain disabled until Google reports the site ready and applicable consent delivery is verified.

Allowed surfaces

Advertising slots may appear on the guide index and long-form guide pages. They are prohibited in the diagnostic workspace, dashboard, account, deletion, backup, download, policy, contact, and error experiences.

Labelling and links

Paid placements use a visible Advertisement, Sponsored, or Affiliate label. Paid outbound links use the sponsored relationship attribute. A commercial relationship does not determine checklist results or editorial conclusions.

Data boundary

Project content, diagnostic answers, account information, and deletion activity are not advertising inputs. Unknown regions and failed consent configuration fall back to house messages or no advertisement.

Advertiser restrictions

PlayLaunch rejects deceptive downloads, false store-approval guarantees, malware, illegal products, and advertising that would undermine user safety or the independence of release guidance.

Report a problem

Use the Contact page to report an unsafe advertisement or undisclosed commercial relationship. Include the page, time, and advertiser name, but do not include credentials or private project data.
