Subscription review guide
Investigate a charge that appears after cancellation
A later charge may be a final invoice, delayed posting, another account or a failed cancellation, and each needs different evidence.
Advertising boundary: ads may appear only on this public page after consent. Personal subscription data from the app is never sent to advertising systems.
Review checklist
- Compare cancellation time, service end date, invoice period and card posting date in one timeline. Record the source and review date so another person can reproduce the decision.
- Check all household, work and alternate-email accounts for the same provider before reporting an unauthorized renewal. Keep uncertain items as candidates until the account owner confirms the billing relationship.
- Contact the provider through its official support route with minimal evidence, then consider the issuer process if unresolved. Preserve a dated confirmation or export before changing an account, plan or renewal setting.
Scope
General guidance for reviewing your own subscriptions. Act only as the account owner or an authorized administrator.
Before you act
Removing an app entry or disconnecting an account does not stop the merchant billing you. Check renewal status with the actual billing provider and keep its confirmation.
