Distinguish duplicate subscriptions from family or business plans
Two similar charges are not automatically duplicates; account ownership, billing route and covered members must be compared.

Review checklist
- Normalize service names but retain the original merchant text and source reference.
- Compare account email, store, billing cycle, plan tier and household or workspace members.
- Ask for confirmation before merging, excluding or marking either charge as waste.

Before you act
Removing an app entry or disconnecting an account does not stop the merchant billing you. Check renewal status with the actual billing provider and keep its confirmation.
