Subscription review guide
Compare a family plan with separate subscriptions
A family plan saves money only when eligibility, household rules, seat use and privacy tradeoffs fit the actual group.
Advertising boundary: ads may appear only on this public page after consent. Personal subscription data from the app is never sent to advertising systems.
Review checklist
- Count active eligible members and unused seats instead of dividing the price by the maximum advertised capacity. Record the source and review date so another person can reproduce the decision.
- Review provider household and location rules before recommending a move between individual and family plans. Keep uncertain items as candidates until the account owner confirms the billing relationship.
- Keep each person’s private activity separate even when the subscription cost is shared. Preserve a dated confirmation or export before changing an account, plan or renewal setting.
Scope
General guidance for reviewing your own subscriptions. Act only as the account owner or an authorized administrator.
Before you act
Removing an app entry or disconnecting an account does not stop the merchant billing you. Check renewal status with the actual billing provider and keep its confirmation.
