Privacy notice

Effective date: August 31, 2026. Stock Scanner is currently a free, account-free educational service using synthetic data. A public AdSense publisher identifier is present only for site ownership review. Live advertising remains disabled until the advertising account, operator identity, consent system, ad units, and site approval are verified.

Information stored on your device

• Watchlists, saved scans, recent reports, display language, research notes, and research packages are stored in the current browser.
• Selected JSON and CSV files are created on your device. They are not uploaded by the static public edition.
• You can export, restore, or delete local service data from the scanner. Clearing browser site data can also remove it.

Information handled by hosting providers

The hosting and network providers may process ordinary request information such as IP address, request time, requested path, browser information, and security logs under their own policies. Stock Scanner does not currently operate a user-account database on the public site.

Advertising status

Third-party advertising requests are currently disabled. The public advertising configuration contains the public AdSense publisher identifier for site ownership review, but no Ad Manager network, ad-unit, Prebid adapter, or campaign identifier. The educational page therefore shows an internal service message instead of a third-party ad. The stage-three design may use Google Ad Manager, contracted server-side demand, and a limited self-hosted Prebid auction only after every external approval is verified.

Before advertising is activated, this notice will be updated with the verified operator, advertising partners, purposes, legal bases, storage and access technologies, international transfer safeguards, retention information, and jurisdiction-specific rights. A certified consent platform will control applicable European and United States privacy signals.

Advertising design commitments

• Ads are prohibited in scanner controls, core results, policy pages, support, print output, and offline mode.
• Advertising cannot influence a score, rank, research conclusion, or method explanation.
• Stock Scanner will not create advertising audiences from synthetic watchlists, saved scans, imported files, company searches, or research notes.
• Advertising will remain off when a required certified consent signal is unavailable or denied, when Global Privacy Control communicates an opt-out, or when age restrictions apply.
• Prebid user ID modules, user synchronization, device storage, and advertising analytics adapters remain disabled; operational reporting is aggregate-only and does not introduce a Stock Scanner advertising user identifier.

Choices and deletion

Use Privacy choices to check advertising status and clear local advertising preferences. Use the scanner’s “My data” controls to export or delete research data. Browser controls can clear all site storage.

Children

The service is intended for a general adult audience interested in financial education and is not directed to children. Do not submit personal information through public support channels.

Contact and controller identity

Use the support and reporting page for public, non-sensitive questions or the private security channel for vulnerabilities. The verified legal operator name, business address, privacy contact, and applicable jurisdiction must be published before live advertising is activated.
